RECOVERY GROUP

WOMEN'S RECOVERY

Our Women's Abuse Recovery counseling group focuses on providing support to women who are either currently in or have been in an abusive relationship. Group members work towards recovery by learning about various forms of abuse and controlling behaviors and beliefs, while learning how to set clear boundaries, develop effective communication skills, and practice positive self-care. The group offers support for day-to-day living in addition to examining the challenges of relationships.

Download our Women's Recovery Group Flier below for more details. Also, if you are currently in a relationship, consider viewing our Men's Becoming Allies Relationship Group Flier below for your partner.

Individual Recovery

For those individuals who do not believe that group counseling is the right fit for their recovery, we do offer individual counseling to assist women and men who have been in an abusive relationship, or are recovering from other trauma, such as PTSD. We have licensed individual therapists and low-fee graduate student counselors who are available to help.

Please view our Individual Counseling page and our Therapists page for details on who is available to help. More information on our low-fee grad student counseling can be found on our Grad Student Flier below.

Please see the Rates & Appointments page for details on graduate student counseling rates.

Sliding Scale

At Allies in Change, we are aware of the many financial hardships that families are facing today. This is why we offer reduced sliding scale fees for anyone in need. These adjusted fees are available for our clients who financially qualify.
